Ocean City Fishing Charters
With the continental shelf beginning some 50 miles off the coast of Maryland, the Schedule Sea will have you there in around 2 hours with her cruising speed of 30 knots, maximizing your time spent fishing. Our Ocean City offshore season runs late June through late September, with peak marlin and tuna action in August and September. We target white and blue marlin, tuna, wahoo, and dolphin (mahi). All top-of-the-line tackle, bait, drinks, ice, and fishing licenses are included.
Closer to home, Shore Thing runs Ocean City inshore fishing charters from the Ocean City boat ramp in West Ocean City, May through late September, for up to 4 passengers.
Our crew has decades of knowledge to make your trip enjoyable and memorable. They will prepare all bait and tackle for you and assist and instruct in all aspects of fishing. When you return to shore, your catch will be cleaned and bagged. Take your fish home with you and enjoy your fresh catch!

Shore Thing - Ocean City Inshore Fishing Charters
Maximum 4 passengers. All prices are for the whole charter, not per person.
Half-Day Inshore Trip
- Departs 8:00 AM or 1:00 PM
- The afternoon departure may not run on the hottest midsummer days.
Evening Shark Trip
- Departs 6:30 PM in summer, 5:00 PM in spring and fall
- Catch and release only. Sand tiger (up to 300 lb), sharpnose, and sandbar sharks.

Good to know
- A gratuity is expected for the services the crew provides; 10-20% is customary.
- If the captain cannot run the trip due to unsafe weather, your booking can be moved to another date or cancelled free of charge.
- Transfer to and from the departure site is not included in trip rates.
